From a tiny prayer circle in Benoni to a global family of faith. This is our story.
In 2014, when we knelt in prayer for the first time as the Christian Assembly of Benoni, I saw more than just a room—I saw a lighthouse. Our journey has been one of radical faith and absolute dependence on the Holy Spirit.
As you read through these milestones, remember that you are not just looking at the history of a church; you are looking at the faithfulness of a God who keeps His promises. We invite you to become a part of the chapters yet to be written.
In Christ,
It started with a burden in the heart of Pastor Ghislain Mpemba. In a small room with just a handful of faithful believers, the first prayers of CAB were whispered. We didn't have a building, but we had a Promise.
Among those who stood at the start were faithful families and leaders whose prayer fueled the fire we see today.
From the first meeting in a small room to the thriving ministry we are today, each milestone carries the story of people, prayer, and purpose.
CAB moved out of a home setting into its first rented hall. The space was humble, but the worship and fellowship were powerful.
We launched a youth department dedicated to discipleship, outreach, and leadership development—raising the next generation of faith-filled leaders.
Our outreach programs grew to include food drives, community prayer meetings, and support services for families in need across Benoni.
We opened a larger worship space that reflects the growth of our congregation and strengthens our mission to serve with excellence and grace.
These numbers are more than statistics—they represent lives touched, families strengthened, and communities served.

"I remember when we had to carry the speakers every Sunday. To see this building now is a miracle."
